Chaplain David and Trisha Hoy

David grew up in Delaware County, PA, graduating from Lansdowne Aldan High School and also attended Philadelphia Biblical University.  He worked as a Service Technician for commercial Heating, Ventilation, and AC systems for twenty-six years.  David accepted Christ at a Men's Fellowship meeting in the sanctuary of Aldan Union Church (AUC) in 1974.  He served faithfully on AUC's Board of Trustees for several years, and was heavily involved in several AUC ministries.

David and Trisha recently joined Spruce Street Baptist Church in order to minister more effectively in their neighborhood.

David served as a part-time volunteer chaplain at Transport for Christ for four years before taking early retirement in July 2002 to minister full-time with Transport For Christ.  David is the Lead Chaplain for the SeedPlanter Chapel.

Trisha graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School and earned a degree in Piano Performance from Immaculata College.  Her walk with the Lord was greatly influenced by Sandy Weaver, a teacher at The Christian Academy.  She was introduced to David by Pastor Paul and Beth Thompson, and they were subsequently married at AUC on July 16, 1994.  Trisha was very active in the music program and children's ministry while at AUC.

When David first expressed an interest in the ministry of Transport For Christ, Trisha began praying that one day he would become a Chaplain.  (Contact us)
