“Cast thy burden upon
the
LORD, and He shall sustain
thee.”
(Psalm 55:22a NIV)
Dear Friends
Once again we humbly thank you for your faithful prayers on our behalf,
also for your generous financial support.
We’ve had many opportunities to share the gospel and encourage
our precious truck drivers.
Please pray for them as they face difficult challenges, especially with
the price of diesel fuel.
Praise

| David and Harry |
I
(Trisha) can’t wait to tell you the exciting “God story” about Harry
Smith! It was a typical
Monday night at the truck stop.
We were having our daily 7:00 p.m. Bible study on the chapel.
Four truck drivers were in attendance when the door opened and in
came Harry. He apologized
for being a little late, but had just pulled into the truck lot.
When he saw the “open” sign on the chapel, he decided to come
inside. This was the first
time he had ever stepped foot in a chapel.
David continued with the Bible study, but we both sensed that
Harry was ripe and ready.
After the study, we usually have a time of prayer, but Harry said he was
exhausted and had to leave.
We both wanted to jump up and ask him to stay, but sensed the Lord
leading us to keep silent.
After the other drivers left, about 10:30 p.m., David and I went into
the truck store to get a key to take our showers, because we were
sleeping on the chapel that night.
As David was getting the key from Ruby, I happened to catch sight
of Harry out of the corner of my eye.
He was getting a cup of coffee, so I went to him and said,
“Harry, I’m so glad I ran into you again.
What time do you have to leave tomorrow morning?”
Harry replied, “Early.”
I said, “We would like to talk to you before you leave.
Could you come by the chapel early?”
Harry said, “That would be great.”
We prayed that night that God would save Harry, and that we would
have an opportunity to share the Scriptures with him early the next
morning. Now you probably
know how the story is going to end—and you would be right.
Harry came to the chapel the next morning and David had the joy
of leading him to the Lord.
But the story continues. Two
weeks later, Harry returned to the chapel for a Bible study with David.
Please pray that he will continue
to
grow in his new faith.
